The MD of this French owned tooling subsidiary had identified that his senior management team was effective in their own areas of operation, whilst not always being as effective in joint working and overall business delivery. With continental Europe suffering a manufacturing recession a more harsh internal and external environment led him to believe that his successful company needed to adapt to maintain its previous high levels of performance.
Need
To build skills and confidence for managers to develop their people management skills to lead and manage teams effectively in order to deliver on their business goals through people focussed approach. The aim is to identify potential improvement areas and to network with other managers to discuss issues, solutions and to build relationships.
Solution
The solution has been a programme of 5 1-day modules for the senior management team delivered over a 7-month period at our training and conference centre, Woodland Grange. These modules have been specifically designed after an initial diagnosis phase with the MD and the HR Manager. The modules cover the following topics:

- The role of the manager – leadership and team building
- Communication Skills
- Performance Management
- Change Management
